Clare and Struan are a fantastic Scottish couple.
They came to Italy less than one year before the wedding, we met and we got along immediately.
The ceremony and reception were organised at the Antico Borgo di San Lorenzo, near Colle Val D’Elsa, a beautiful village near Siena.
The day didn’t look promising, the weather forecast was terrible. There was a heavy rainfall while the bride was getting ready, but magically just as the bride was coming out of her room, the sun came out and gave us a fantastic light to work with.
The civil ceremony was held in the small, charming chapel of the country resort; all the men, including the groom, wore kilts, as Scottish tradition commands.
The festive, lively spirit that is typical of the Scots was also present and the dinner and dancing were incredibly lively.
